Q-Bizm is a jazzy, funk-rock musical collaboration whose influences include steely dan, dave matthews band, and the mahavishnu orchestra . The project was born in 1997 following a series of jam sessions involving Filippo Gaetani (bass & vocals), Francesco Corrias (drums) and ETN Hunyady (guitar).
Following a number of largely improvisational recording sessions, and a period of shaping the resulting ideas, the group released their first album "Q-Bizm" in 2001. The Follow up album "Vivid" (2004) was a huge leap forward in terms of composition and production. For the "Vivid" sessions, the band invited a host of new collaborators into their inner circle , adding interesting new flavours to an already varied musical spectrum. Drummer extraordinaire Walter Paoli, saxophonist Alessandro Riccucci, Valentin Gerlier and Steph D'Silva and vocalist Darius Simoncini were in the team.
